Matt Chubb is the founder of Vivid Ink Tattoos, bringing over 20 years of tattoo experience to Melbourne’s southeastern suburbs. He started tattooing in 1995, having spent time working as a sign writer and drawing constantly — a background that shaped his sharp eye for composition and detail.
Matt’s favourite work is portrait and realism tattoos, executed in both colour and black and grey. He’s never settled into a single approach, constantly branching out into new styles and pushing himself further in design and application. It’s this drive that led him to open Vivid Ink Tattoos and build a studio where Melbourne’s best tattoo artists could come together under one roof.
